I was given an Acer Predator TT eSports as a gift if I managed to install it myself. It's one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever used, durable and still no problems with the lining tearing. For the new seat I chose the TTRacing Swift Pro in Stealth. In this article I will share my experience using a chair priced at RM1099 (RM769 discount price).
SPECIFICATIONS
TTRacing Swift X Pro is an ergonomic gaming and productivity chair. During the review period I used it in the office to write articles. For example, this article was written while I was sitting on this chair. The Swift X Pro I used was the fabric type, but TTRacing also offers a polyurethane (PU) leather option.
It has a height from 160cm to 200cm, supports a load of up to 150kg, open seat design, armrests with cushion pads, can be tilted up to 20 degrees and the seat can be reclined up to 135 degrees. From this point of view, TTRacing Swift X Pro is just like any other gaming chair on the market.
INSTALLATION
As I said in the first paragraph, I used to assemble a gaming chair myself. But after not doing it for so long, setting up the TTRacing Swift X Pro felt a little complicated. You can install it yourself but for a more efficient installation it is better if there are two because there are quite heavy components.
The instructions given are very easy to understand. First we install the seat with the backrest. Then we prepare the base and wheels and other components to change the height of the chair. The armrests are then installed and finally the chair is lifted and connected to the base and wheels. The installation process is only about 15 minutes.
USAGE EXPERIENCE
As an Acer Predator TT eSports user for five years, switching to a new chair feels a little awkward. The cushion on the seat feels hard, the size feels a little small and the armrests feel strange because this model does not support forward and backward adjustment. Therefore, I tried to persevere and use this chair for a month.
During one month, I can say that my body feels less tired after work. This chair helps me write in the most comfortable position as always leaning back with a good enough neck and spine cushion support. But the design of this chair seems wider because I think the distance between the chair and the table is quite far compared to the Acer Predator TT eSports.
While working from early morning until late afternoon, I can say that every hour I will sit forward a little to look at the laptop screen more comfortably. After I checked more details of the Swift X Pro specifications on the TTRacing website, I understood that this seat model is in the premium mid-range category.
For a chair that costs around RM1000 it is very well designed. Every part is given a very careful touch, neat stitching, clear logo label, good cushioning, and this Stealth color looks as fierce and masculine as the chair used by Batman in the Batcave. Adjusting the height is also comfortable and smooth. Then adjusting the incline level didn't shock my body either.
CONCLUSION
TTRacing Swift X Pro is a good gaming and productivity chair. Just to get the best feeling of comfort, I need to use it for more than a month before I feel that it is compatible with my body shape.
The selling price of TTRacing Swift X Pro is RM1099 which has better quality and is more durable with a two-year warranty. In my review, many buyers have no complaints after using TTRacing products for over two years. When compared to the IKEA MILLBERGET chair which costs RM499, after two years the fabric started to tear and the height adjusting hydraulic cylinder started to stop working. Pay less to buy the Swift X Pro for long-term enjoyment.
