WhatsApp announced a new Chat Filters feature that will filter chat messages received by users. Through Chat Filters the application now has a tab for all messages, unread messages and messages from groups the user has joined.
With this filter, it is easier to read the received messages without having to look at the timeline which may be quite long. At a glance the received message can be seen to avoid the issue of forgetting to read.
WhatsApp says the feature is rolling out to users today but its rollout to all users will be phased in over the coming weeks.
