In the market now there are many types of phones with foldable screens. There is a normal one that looks like a book or tablet folded into a phone and another is a clamshell type like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. Not many devices in this category focus on the camera except from Chinese manufacturers.
Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to arrive this year to further expand their foldable phone offering. The device is said to use a screen without the fold effect and the latest leaked information is that the MIX Flip will support a telephoto camera. The use of telephoto is rare in a flip phone making the MIX Flip (if true) the second to include it after the Oppo Find N3.
According to the Android Headlines report, MIX Flip will be equipped with two main cameras which are 50MP Omnivision OVX 8000 and 60MP OV60A 2x telephoto. Near the camera is a small external screen for notifications and selfies. Then the inner screen will use a resolution of 1.5K being one of the highest for a phone like this. The device is expected to launch in May or June and run HyperOS but it is not yet certain whether it will be launched globally or not.
