5G Network Now Covers 85% of Populated Areas In Malaysia

From month to month, the 5G coverage rate in Malaysia continues to be gradually increased. Most recently, according to the Ministry of Digital's sharing, 5G network coverage in Malaysia has now reached a rate of 85% of populated areas.

For now, the latest figures of users using 5G networks on their devices are still unknown. Although the coverage reach figure is quite high, the usage rate is still low for now.

The government itself has instructed telecommunication companies not to charge any additional charges for 5G access, in order to allow more people to access and use it.

In addition, various private parties have also started developing their own private 5G networks for enterprise and industrial use.
