In conjunction with the announcement of the Microsoft Copilot+ laptop series at the Microsoft Build event yesterday, various PC brands have shown off their own Copilot+ laptop offerings, including Acer.
Acer showcased their latest Acer Swift 14 laptop, the Acer Swift 14 AI powered by a choice of Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and newly introduced Snapdragon X Plus processing chips.
This laptop also comes with a 14.5 inch OLED touch screen display with a resolution of 2.5K which is quite high. Depending on the configuration of the chip used, this laptop comes with a total of 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and comes with 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.
In terms of battery, this laptop comes with a 75Wh battery for all-day use, where Acer says that the Swift 14 AI has a 30 percent better battery usage efficiency compared to a Macbook with an Apple M2 processing chip.
Other features include support for the latest WiFi 7 connectivity and AI features introduced by Microsoft including Windows Recall, Windows Hello, AcerSense standardization software, Acer PurifiedVoice and Acer User Sensing which will lock the laptop if the camera detects the presence of someone behind the user. .
Acer Swift 14 AI is expected to be launched in select markets in a few months.
