AMD seems to be celebrating their 55th anniversary this year, and in connection with that, has launched a special website that shows a number of pictures showing the history of the company's development.
What's a little interesting about these pictures is that AMD showed a number of iconic black and white pictures that were colored using artificial intelligence technologies such as Adobe Photoshop Neural Filters and Topaz Photo AI that use hardware powered by AMD Ryzen AI technology.
One example is a black and white photo of AMD's 12th employee, Rich Previte, standing in front of an electron microscope. He is one of the Chief Financial Officer and President of the company and has worked for AMD for 30 years.
This groundbreaking photo in Sunnyvale, California is the location of the 915 Deguigne office, where AMD would operate for 47 years before moving to Santa Clara.
Not only that, the picture of AMD's first CEO, Jerry Sanders was also given the same upgrade, where AI technology gave this old picture an interesting touch of color.
Not just pictures, AMD has also uploaded a 40th anniversary video that was upscaled to 4K resolution using the Topaz AI service.
AMD has already introduced two CPU series with built-in NPU chips, including the AMD Ryzen 8040 and AMD Ryzen 7040, and is expected to continue introducing CPU series with AI technology in the future.
