After more than six years of launch, Apple HomePod was announced to enter the Malaysian market last week. Today it is officially available for purchase through Apple's online store as well as third-party sellers nationwide. Also available for purchase today is the HomePod Mini that was introduced in 2020.
Both of these smart speakers support the matchable feature for stereo as well as spatial audio support which is supported on Apple Music. Voice control can be provided to launch various services as well as being compatible with connected (IoT) devices that support the Matter standard. Another interesting feature is that it can detect temperature and the level of carbon dioxide gas in the air.
In Malaysia, the Apple HomePod is sold at a price of RM1549 in black or white. Apple HomePod Mini is priced at RM529 in gray, blue, yellow, white and orange colors.
