Apple today announced its latest processing chip, the Apple M4. It brings a number of improvements, and the first device to be powered by this processing chip is the iPad Pro.
As many are aware, Apple has started to develop its own processing chips that power computers - which have also started to be used in their tablets. The Apple M4 is the fourth-generation chip, and Apple is seen introducing it to tablets before computers for the first time.
Apple M4 comes with 4 performance CPU cores along with 6 efficient CPU cores, in addition to 10 GPU cores for offering good graphics through it. It is also equipped with a Neural Engine for processing involving machine learning – enabling the processing of up to 38 trillion operations at a time.
In addition to performance, Apple also emphasizes that this processing chip uses less energy and is more efficient than previous chips. The new chip comes with a 3nm design, as well as supporting a new display engine for OLED screens.
For those of you who want to try the performance of the Apple M4, you can get the new iPad Pro which will be the first device to use it.
