Apple TV+ is almost five years old but the number of subscribers is still not comparable to Disney+ or Netflix. One of the reasons is that the Apple TV+ application is not offered on all platforms, especially Android smartphones. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple has started advertising positions for Android developers to develop Apple TV+ applications.
With Apple looking to generate revenue through Apple TV+, a broader offering is necessary without isolating users with a particular operating system. Is it a little strange that the app for Android is still not offered when the Android TV app has been launched since 2021. The first time it was rumored to be coming to Android devices was in 2022 but obviously this is not the case. When launched later it will be a small part of Apple's application on Android. They only offer Apple Music, Move to iOS and Beats so far.
