Arc Is Another Chromium Web Browser For Windows

The web browser dubbed as the operating system for the web can now be used on Windows devices. It is Arc and developed by The Browser Company. The company was founded by Josh Miller and Hursh Agrawal with a team of former employees of Instagram, Tesla, Medium and Google.

Arc is a web browser developed based on Chromium, similar to Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. But The Browser Company built this application with Swift which is always used to develop macOS and iOS applications. Arc is a web browser that cares about tranquility because all the elements on this application are minimalistic.

All tabs, bookmarks, etc. are in the sidebar. In this bar there is also a Space which is a space or different use profile such as dedicated to work and entertainment. Each Space can also have its own color theme. Arc also includes a two web one tab feature for more efficient multi-tasking. Interestingly, if a user logs in with an Arc account all web browsing history will sync with the iPhone app.

Some other interesting features such as Arc Max's generative AI for website summarization or Little Arc for website access are still not offered on Windows. Even the Peek feature for hovering over an embedded link to preview a website doesn't work well. An additional feature is that all Chrome plugins are supported on Arc. If you are interested in using Arc, this web browser is available for download at the link below.
