ASUS ROG Ally X is Expected to Come With 24GB of LPDDR5X Memory



ASUS has recently confirmed that they will introduce an update to their ASUS ROG Ally mobile PC console with the ASUS ROG Ally X which will come with a black design and some other improvements.


Recently, information seems to have leaked about one of those improvements, and it is on the memory side of this console. The ROG Ally X is expected to come with 24GB of LPDDR5X memory, compared to the 16GB of LPDDR5 memory used in the first ROG Ally console launched last year. No difference will be shown in terms of screen display which will still use a 7-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and also an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processing chip on the first model. One notable change is that the ROG Ally X will not use the regular AMD Ryzen Z1 processing chip.


In the meantime, ASUS is also expected to update the location of the MicroSD card reader to fix the issue of damage due to extreme heat, and will also introduce a larger battery size for this model.


ASUS is expected to show the ASUS ROG Ally X console during the COMPUTEX Taipei event later, so let's all wait for it.
