Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was announced a few days ago with a trailer that played up conspiracy theories. Ever since Activision Blizzard was acquired by Microsoft, many have wondered if the hugely popular COD series will be offered for free through Xbox Games Pass and PC Game Pass.
This question was answered after Microsoft announced itself that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will arrive on the first day through Game Pass. Activision Blizzard typically makes hundreds of millions in revenue every time a new COD game launches. With it being offered in Game Pass bundles this year, its impact on sales and revenue remains to be seen.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will also be available on Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Switch consoles. Among the agreements made by Microsoft to allow them to buy Activision Blizzard is not to make COD an exclusive game on their console for 10 years.
