Chats Private Messaging Feature Now Introduced On Bluesky

The Bluesky social media application developed by Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter today announced that the application has finally arrived with a Chats feature, through which Bluesky users can send private messages to other users.

After Bluesky finally opened to the public last month, and where they announced that the platform now has around 4 million users, this feature was finally introduced on the platform.

To send a message, you just need to press the Chat icon at the bottom of the application screen or on the side of the Bluesky website, and you will be given the option to start a private conversation with the individual you follow, or you can search on Bluesky.

Bluesky allows users you follow to send you messages by default, and this setting can be changed through the settings menu on the app or website according to your needs.

For now, you can only send text messages or links in these private messages, but Bluesky says that media support, group messages and some security features will be introduced to Chats in the future.
