Fujifilm has just announced a new range of cameras in Malaysia today. Among them is the Fujifilm X-T50 as the latest model in the X series which is able to provide better image quality, along with interesting technology in a compact and light body.
The new Fujifilm X-T50 offers a compact body weighing 438 grams and is interchangeable with an X-Mount APS-C lens. The camera also has a high-resolution 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor along with the latest X-Processor 5 image processor. This combination can offer continuous shooting capabilities of up to 8FPS with the mechanical shutter, or 20FPS using the electronic shutter.
The sensor also supports a standard ISO range of 125-12,800, and can be expanded to ISO 64-51,200. In addition, there is also support for the built-in 5-axis IBIS stabilization system with a maximum of 7.0 stops included. The ability to record up to 6.2K30P in 4:2:2 10-bit format, as well as 4:2:2 12-bit via HDMI with a choice of ProRes or Blackmagic recording. At the same time, it is also capable of recording at standard resolutions of 4K/60P and FHD/240P.
Then as many as two F-Log formats including F-Log2 can also be used for color control on more pleasing images. Autofocus tracking capabilities for still images and video are also more accurate with the help of AI. Next allows the camera to be able to lock the focus of various subjects including humans, animals and vehicles better.
For the first time a rotary knob is included which allows users to quickly access Film Simulation settings including REALA ACE compared to the X-T30 II. The options provided also include eight preset settings and four custom settings. For storage, there is a UHS-II SD card slot. A 3″ LCD panel with 1.84 million dots is also included which can be moved according to the user's needs.
The Fujifilm X-T50 is offered in Malaysia with a price starting at RM7,998 for the body only. It can also be purchased together with the X-T50/XC15-45mm Kit at RM8,498 and the X-T50/XF16-50mm Kit at RM9,998.
