An extension of the previous development, now Google has activated a shortcut for Google Gemini directly through the URL bar of the Google Chrome web browser. With this move, users can have quick access to Google Gemini, by simply typing @Gemini on the URL bar.
Once a question is asked, it will then take the user to the Google Gemini site, and display or generate answers related to what the user asked.
Before being able to use this feature, users need to make sure they are signed in to a Google account on the Chrome web browser. Instead, it will just lead to the Google Gemini one-stop page, and no answers will be generated.
At the same time, Google Gemini still does not support Bahasa Malaysia, and displays answers for English and some other languages only for now.
Those of you who use Google Chrome, can update to Chrome 124, and enjoy this feature by typing @Gemini on the URL bar.
