Google is ready to integrate a number of artificial intelligence features into their products and services. Also shared at the Google I/O event is the ability to identify scam calls directly on Android devices.
Google makes this possible through Gemini Nano integration that comes directly on Android phones. The artificial intelligence model will run in the device, and if during a voice call, the caller asks for some suspicious things such as asking for a PIN, banking information and so on – then the artificial intelligence will identify it, as well as warn the user.
Google states that this various analysis takes place in the device, while ensuring that user conversations always remain private and are not shared with anyone.
Google aims to introduce this feature to the general public later this year. This feature will be offered, and needs to be activated by the user manually.
