Following the launch of the Pad 9 tablet last February, Honor provides a new option by introducing a pro version. It has been announced in China and it is not certain whether it will be brought into foreign markets or otherwise.
Honor Pad 9 Pro is given an improvement over the standard version both in terms of design and internal hardware. The round camera bump is no longer used and is replaced by an oval design placed at the corner of the edge. Then there is also Honor branding that complements this tablet.
For specifications, this tablet is equipped with a 12.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 X 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is also powered by the Dimensity 8100 chip with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for the mainstay. A 13MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera are also used on the tablet. Followed by a 10,050mAh battery with 33W charging as a complement.
Multitasking is also made easy through MagicOS 8.0 software built on Android 14. This tablet is sold in China with a starting price of RMB2199 (~RM1,446) (8/256GB) and RMB 2499 (~RM1,644) (12/256GB). For the record, the Honor Pad 9 is also available for sale in Malaysia at a price of RM1,499 for LTE and RM1,799 for the 5G version.
