LG Signature OLED R is a rollable OLED screen television. It was first shown in 2018 and went on sale to the public in 2021 with a price tag of over RM400,000. The latest Flatpanelshd reported that LG will stop producing televisions like this.
This television concept is interesting because it targets users who want a minimalist living room or space in the room. Every time after watching television, the screen can be stored as a block like a unique piece of furniture. Sources say that LG has stopped producing this television since last year because it failed to reduce production costs. LG has also withdrawn the demo set in their stores.
Despite this, LG reportedly still wants to continue the development and production of televisions with strange screens. Among those shown this year is the LG Siganture OLED T, which is a television with a transparent screen like the Mi TV LUX OLED four years ago.
