Meta is about to introduce the Meta Verified subscription, which adds a blue checkmark to a Facebook or Instagram account. It is already offered for individual accounts, and has also been gradually introduced for business customers or Meta Business accounts. Through the latest update, Meta also announced two additional features for business customers who subscribe to Meta Verified.
The first is better discovery for Meta Verified customers, and another new offering is a higher ranking when users perform searches related to the business profile.
Apparently, this might be the solution for users who use Facebook Pages and want better access to their accounts. As many are aware, Facebook has started limiting the display of Facebook Pages on the NewsFeed, and there are some accounts that are showing a sudden drop in terms of reach. Perhaps to overcome this, Meta now asks users to pay.
But, at the same time, it cannot be ascertained yet how the rate of access through the Meta Verified subscription will be for the time being. The Meta Verified feature for Pages is also still limited and has not been widely introduced yet.
