NVIDIA is expected to show a new series of graphics cards based on the Blackwell graphics processing chip at the end of this year, namely the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000, which will consist of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, GeForce RTX 5080 and so on.
Recently, there are reports saying that NVIDIA will only show one model this year, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, which is expected to be the most powerful gaming graphics card model they have released so far.
Unlike the launch of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 graphics card where NVIDIA showed the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 models together, NVIDIA's strategy this time seems to be to announce the launch of their graphics cards one by one. This is probably because for now NVIDIA is focusing their graphics card production for machine learning and intelligence purposes first with their NVIDIA Blackwell B200 graphics chip.
Other graphics cards such as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, GeForce RTX 4070 and so on are expected to be shown and sold starting next year which will also give time for gaming graphics card developers to sell off their existing stock of graphics cards before this new model is launched.
