OpenAI is now reportedly preparing to introduce their first search product, likely to be named ChatGPT Search. The domain for it appears to have been registered under search.chatgpt.com.
For now, the site is still inactive. According to initial speculation, OpenAI is expected to offer a search engine powered by ChatGPT, thus competing with a number of search products on the market, including Google.
Rumors related to the introduction of this search engine have been talked about for several months before. At the time, it was said that some of these search products would also be powered by Microsoft's Bing.
It is not yet known whether this offering will be able to compete with Google's dominance or vice versa. Microsoft itself has recently stated that Bing is used by more than 140 million users every day, showing a positive increase since the integration of artificial intelligence technology.
