Samsung Exynos System-on-Chips have been seen using AMD graphics chips in them for several years, including the Samsung Exynos 2400 offering launched this year for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series of devices, and also the Samsung Exynos 2500 that will be introduced for next year's devices.
Recently, Roland Quant, a reliable leaker of smart device information has said that starting in 2026, Samsung will no longer use AMD graphics chips in their Samsung Exynos SoC offerings.
According to him, Samsung will develop their own graphics chip that will be used on the Samsung Exynos chip starting that year. Last year, Samsung signed an extension to the original agreement where Samsung would be allowed to use AMD graphics technology. According to Roland Quant, Samsung doesn't seem to be renewing the deal after it expires soon.
