Solar@PETRA Initiative – “Solar Boleh” Program Announced To Encourage Solar Subscription

Malaysia has an agenda in carbon transition and the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) was created to accelerate this growth. Through this initiative, PETRA also collaborated with Bank Simpanan Nasional, AEON Malaysia and also SOLS Energy to speed up the installation of solar systems in consumer homes.

Through this collaboration, these three entities will offer their own benefits to promote the reduction of carbon emissions, in addition to generating income among consumers.

For users interested in installing a solar system, they only need to go to the nearest AEON branch nationwide, and each installation will earn 2x AEON reward points. In fact, the first 100 buyers will receive an additional 40,000 reward points in conjunction with AEON's 40th anniversary.

Bank Simpanan Nasional will offer a solar financing scheme through the MyRinggit-i Solar panel product offered to government employees through a salary deduction that offers a competitive profit rate based on the user's solar power generation.

And completing this collaboration is SOLS Energy which provides solar subscription without any capital or installation cost from the user, enabling affordable solar installation for domestic users.

This will complete the Solar Program CAN! launched by PETRA and for those interested, you can go to the nearest AEON branch or visit the SolarBoleh website for more information.
