Sooka Will Come With Its Own Android TV Dongle

Sooka is a video streaming platform under Astro specifically for users who do not subscribe to any Astro plan. It offers tons of live sports streaming, Astro Originals TV series and more. Most recently, sooka is seen to be present with its own TV dongle.

Dubbed as sooka TV, the dongle is seen running the Android 12 operating system. Chromecast and Google Assistant support will also be provided along with Widevine L1 DRM and AV1 codecs that reduce data usage when streaming videos. This Sooka dongle is powered by Broadcom BCM72181 2.6 GHz four-core chip and equipped with 2GB RAM memory. The Bluetooth 5.2 system is also used to support the connection of control devices and speakers.

Sooka TV appears to be developed by Prime, a Taiwanese company that specializes in TV boxes and home Internet networks. For now it is still uncertain when sooka TV will be sold to everyone. We expect that sooka may offer a special subscription plan to get this dongle or those who already subscribe to sooka can buy at a discount price. Let's wait together.
