Acer Launches Three Latest Predator Monitors – One With 480Hz OLED Screen



Acer has announced three new Predator gaming monitors at Computex 2024. All three target hardcore video gamers with the best capabilities through matching resolutions and high refresh rates.



Acer Predator X27U F3

First is the Acer Predator X27U F3 which uses a 26.5-inch OLED panel. With an OLED panel, a premium viewing experience with great contrast, color and visuals can be expected. It also supports WQHD resolution (2560 x1440 pixels), 480Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible are also included which are capable of displaying 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. Supported inputs are Type-C and two HDMI 2.1 ports also offer support for both console as well as PC gaming. In addition, there is also a tripod mount on the monitor pole that allows users to easily attach accessories such as web cameras or screen lights.



Next up is the Predator X32 X3 which offers a larger 31.5″ 4K UHD OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate. It can also still be used in FHD resolution with a faster 480Hz refresh rate if desired. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible are also included which are capable of displaying 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. In addition there is also Type-C and two HDMI 2.1 ports that offer versatile connectivity for both consoles and PC games.



Predator X34 X5

Lastly is the Predator X34 X5 which is equipped with a 31.5″ OLED screen with a 1500R curvature angle. It also supports UW-QHD (3440 x 1440), 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. There is also AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible included which is capable of displaying 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. Supported inputs are two HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and Type-C for pretty good connectivity options.


All three also feature matching BlueLight Shield Pro and ComfyView technology to help prevent eye strain. In addition to being equipped with a special OLED screen protection mechanism to help extend the lifespan of the monitor while maintaining image quality. For example, Display Saver to dim the screen automatically when inactive, Constant Brightness, as well as Image Retention Refresh & Screen Move to minimize stuck pixels and images.


All products will be marketed starting Q4 2024 with sales prices varying by region.
