Ansel Adams-Like AI-Generated Image Pulled From Adobe Stocks After Criticism

The photographs taken by the famous photographer Ansel Adams are the cause of the environmental conservation movement becoming popular in the United States. Even though it's only monochrome, the beauty of the environment that he managed to capture in his pictures is quite iconic. Recently, the family of the deceased criticized Adobe for offering AI-generated images in the style of Ansel Adams through Adobe Stocks.

After receiving criticism from the deceased's family and the public, Adobe has removed all of these AI-generated images for "not complying with Adobe Stock's terms and conditions". Adobe Stock allows Ai-generated images to be offered to users but they cannot imitate other artists' styles.

Although the photo has been removed, the family of Ansel Adams is still upset that their previous complaints were ignored by Adobe. The use of AI images in works is a hot issue among art activists. Generative AI is seen stealing works without permission and causing real artists to no longer be able to generate income.

Adobe is now in the same situation as OpenAI which withdrew the voice of "Sky" in ChatGPT because it sounded like Scarlett Johansson. After being sent a lawyer's letter, OpenAI immediately retracted the popular actor's impersonation and said it was not trained using his voice.
