Three years ago, Apple started offering Apple Podcast Subscriptions in Malaysia. It allows users to stream podcasts without any ads and can listen to all episodes early instead of waiting either daily or weekly. Most recently, Apple introduced podcast content that requires an Apple TV+ subscription.
This podcast is My Divo which has eight episodes telling the story of Juan Gabriel who is also known as El Divo de Juárez. He is a songwriter and singer from Mexico. This podcast was delivered by Maria Garcia, a Mexican journalist. Interestingly, this podcast requires an Apple TV+ subscription if users want to listen to all eight episodes. Otherwise it has to be waited on a weekly basis.
For now, My Divo is limited to users in the United States and Mexico only. In Malaysia, this podcast is not offered at all, probably because this artist is not relevant in the Malaysian market. Even so, soon if you are ready to subscribe to Apple TV+ you will now be eligible to access various Apple Podcast Subscription content if it is part of the Apple TV+ connected subscription program.
