The Beats Pill is a popular portable speaker that focuses on bass. It was introduced in 2012 and discontinued in 2022. Now after two years since Beat Pill Plus was discontinued the new Beats Pill has been launched.
This speaker uses its own racetrack woofer audio driver that provides 90% air volume for a louder bass. The design of the audio driver can also reduce the effect of audio distortion even when using 100% voice level. The audio drivers also have neodymium magnets that put 28% more pressure on the components for more accurate sound.
The new Beats Pill also has IP67 protection, a battery that lasts up to 24 hours, can be charged with USB-C, and also has its own chip for quick docking and features to find the speaker with Apple Find My or Google Find My Device. The USB-C connection also allows for lossless audio playback. Beats Pill also has a microphone for answering phone calls or controlling virtual assistants.
Beats also includes an Amplify Mode feature to connect two speakers together that can provide a stereo audio experience. There are four physical buttons on this speaker which are power button, media/virtual assistant button and two buttons for volume control.
In Malaysia Beats Pill is sold at a price of RM779 with a choice of Matt Black, Statement Red or Champagne Gold. No delivery date and Apple Pickup details are given at this time.
