Berjaya Corp Will Work With Chinese Companies To Introduce Smart Home Technology And Electric Vehicles

Berjaya Corp, a Malaysian conglomerate company that has its fingers in various local industries today has signed an agreement with two companies from China to bring in and develop new technologies in the housing and automotive sectors.

The agreement was signed together with Skyworth Group Co. Ltd. and Skywell New Energy Automobile Group Co. Ltd, of which Skyworth is a smart home technology development company, and Skywell is a low-speed NEV or Neighborhood Electric Vehicle equipment developer.

The collaboration between these companies is seen to allow Berjaya to expand their wings in the housing sector by offering smart home technology, and enter the electric vehicle sector which is now seen to be increasingly popular. Since Skywell is a company known for their micro-mobility technology, the probability is that Berjaya will try to integrate the technology from this deal in one package.

This is not surprising when the founder of these two companies is the same individual, namely Stephen Wong, who said that the agreement between these companies will strengthen the understanding between Malaysia and China, and allow these two companies to build projects- a landmark project that can be used by the public.
