The Google Chrome web browser on Android devices is starting to receive the feature of reading open web pages. According to Google's 9to5 report, the feature began to be provided in stages since yesterday with this feature being named "Listen to this page" with it being accessed through the menu in the application.
This feature can not only read the web page that is opened but also comes with the feature of choosing the voice used for reading but can also read using the language chosen by the user. There are audio controls such as starting reading, pausing, skipping forward, skipping backward and also controlling the speed of the text being read.
At this point the feature is only accepted by a small number of Android users with it expected to be rolled out in stages over the coming weeks. Some users say the feature can be accessed if Chrome version 125 is installed side by side on an Android device. With this feature a feature we often use on the desktop version of Chrome finally arrives on Android.
