Elon Musk is the richest man in the world at the moment and at the same time probably the unhappiest man because he always finds fault with others. This morning Elon sent a tweet saying he will ban the use of Apple devices in his companies if OpenAI technology is integrated at the operating system level.
In Musk's view, this would pose a serious security risk. At WWDC, Apple said OpenAI content will be published in a series of answers that now finally have artificial intelligence (AI) support. Any visitors to his company will also be instructed to hand over the device which is then stored in a Faraday cage. This ban is similar to that done by China which banned the use of Apple devices by civil servants for security reasons.
It is not known whether Musk is serious about banning Apple products or is simply looking for any ammunition to shoot OpenAI. Since leaving OpenAI due to a clash with Sam Altman a few days ago Musk has often been looking for reasons to compete with the world's number one AI company.
