Google Gives a Warning If Google Drive Files Are Not Opened After a Week of Receipt

Lately I've been paying a lot of attention to the notifications that come out on my smartphone. Because I'm often busy I miss a lot of messages, emails and app notifications about interesting content. Therefore, features such as Scheduled Summary on iOS and Notification History on Android are very useful. If you're like me, notifications are important, Google Drive is the cloud storage you must use.

This is because, starting June 10, Google will distribute a new feature where they will send a reminder email to users if files in Google Drive are not opened or viewed within seven days. To receive this reminder email, it will only happen if you don't open or view the shared Google Drive file either through a link or invitation. This email will have a link to Google Drive as well as the sender's details.
