Jabra expands its range of audio products with two new options through the Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and the Elite 10 Gen 2. The combination of certain elements such as the latest technology also makes both interesting in its class. One of the main advantages of these new earphones is of course the support of smart charging pods with the world's first LE Audio LE.
It is powered by a new chip that allows users to easily stream audio from multiple devices via a USB-C connection or 3.5mm audio jack. This means users can connect the charging pod to any other device using the USB-C to USB-C charging cable (along with the 3.5mm audio jack) provided in the purchase box. Then the charging pod itself will wirelessly connect the audio directly to the earphones for listening purposes.
There's also CODEC L3 and built-in Advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) supported on six Elite 10 Active Gen 2 microphones to filter out background noise. Meanwhile, the Elite 8 Active microphone uses enhanced Adaptive Hybrid Active Noise cancellation. The audio experience is also improved with the support of Spatial Sound by Dolby and the all-new New Natural HearThrough provided on both earphones.
Other features are IP68 waterproof for the earphones (but IP57 for the Elite 10 Gen2) and IP54 for the charging pod. In addition, both also support the Multipoint Connection feature for connection on two devices simultaneously. Battery life can reach 8 hours and 32 hours (with the charging pod) for the Elite 8 Active Gen 2. Meanwhile, the Elite 10 Gen 2 can be used up to 6 hours and 27 hours with the help of the charging pod.
Elite 8 Active Gen 2 is sold for $229 (~RM1,078) and is available in Navy, Black, Coral and Olive colors), Then Elite 10 Active Gen 2 is priced at $279 (~RM1,314) with Titanium Black color options, Gloss Black, Cocoa, Denim and Soft White.
