Nikon Z6 III Camera Now Launched With 24.5 MP CMOS Sensor

The Nikon Z6 III digital camera has been officially launched with a 24.5 MP CMOS sensor. There is also support for the built-in image stabilization system (IBIS) which allows this camera to move the sensor so that it can produce images as large as 96MP. A mode to create 24MP frames is also available to produce better quality photos with better color settings.

The sensor also offers a range of lighting sensitivity rates between ISO100 to 64,000 and ISO expandable to 50 to 204,800. Video capabilities are up to 6K resolution, 12-bit RAW 6K/60p N-RAW and 6K/30p ProRes RAW.

The Z6 III also promises a very fast autofocus system supported by AI technology. The autofocus system on this camera is also 20% faster than the previous model, the Z6 II. The focus is accurate and fast when detecting any subject in the picture such as people, animals, vehicles and so on.

The Z6 III's mechanical shutter can be used to capture up to 14 frames per second (full resolution RAW+JPEG with AF/AE) while the electronic shutter can shoot up to 20 frames per second with RAW recording. This camera is quite useful for capturing fast moving subjects in time.

The Nikon Z6 III is now available on the market for $2,500 (~RM11,787) for the body alone, or $3,100 (~RM14,616) together with the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S kit lens. For those interested, registration for purchase can now be done on Nikon's official website.
