NVIDIA Will Update Their Component Offering Every Year – Starting With Rubin



During NVIDIA's keynote event yesterday, NVIDIA made several announcements regarding a number of their artificial intelligence component offerings, but one of their biggest announcements may be regarding the production rate of their graphics processing chips.


NVIDIA has shown their latest graphics processing chip and artificial intelligence offering, Blackwell this year, but Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA has confirmed that starting next year, 2025, NVIDIA will update their graphics processing chip offering every year by showing the astronomer based Rubin Vera Rubin.



Not many details are known about the Rubin, but Jensen confirmed that it is the first graphics processing chip to be introduced a year after the Blackwell. Among the components that will be shown include an artificial intelligence accelerator, a graphics card and also a CPU based on Arm that was announced earlier.


Jensen also said that the Rubin graphics chip is currently under development, and is expected to be introduced early next year.
