Qualcomm Introduces Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 Chipset

Qualcomm has now quietly introduced their latest mid-range processing chip, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 built using 6nm technology. It comes with 5G network support, and is seen as a slight upgrade over the previous Snapdragon 695 chip. Qualcomm is also expected to offer a 4G modem variant under this chip.

The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 comes with a Kryo chip with two 2.3GHz Cortex-A78 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. The GPU used is the Qualcomm Adreno 619. Completing this chipset is the Snapdragon X51 5G modem support, as well as offering support for QuickCharge 4+. Meanwhile this chip supports LPDDR4X RAM memory and UFS 2.2 storage.

For now, it is not yet known what new devices will be present powered by this processing chip. With the introduction of this processing chip, we may see the introduction of the first devices using it in just a few weeks.
