In addition to Realme GT 6 and GT 6T, the two latest TWS Realme Buds Air6 and Buds Air6 Pro were also officially launched in Malaysia. Realme Buds Air6 is a TWS with a 12.4mm audio driver and it also has an ANC noise cancellation system that can reduce noise up to 50dB. There's also an adaptive ANC mode that changes the system's strength based on the situation.
On Android devices, Google Fastpair is supported. A touch pad is built into the stem to control music applications or make phone calls. The earphones pass the IP55 splash-proof standard.
For high-resolution audio fans, these earphones support the LHDC 5.0 codec. Finally Buds Air 6 can operate up to 6.5 hours and increase to 26 hours with the help of the charging pod in ANC mode. It increases to up to 40 hours if ANC is turned off.
Realme Buds Air6 Pro is a more premium model, therefore it is equipped with two audio drivers. One 11mm bass driver and one 6mm tweeter. The ANC system reduces noise up to 50dB with adaptive capabilities depending on the surrounding noise. It also supports Google Fastpair, has a contact pad on the stalk and passes the IP55 splash-proof standard. An ear sensor is also provided to automatically pause the music.
Audio performance is higher due to LDAC codec support as well as 360-degree spatial audio. A pair of Buds Air 6 Pro can operate for 7.5 hours and increases to 28 hours with the help of the charging pod if ANC is activated. It can increase to up to 40 hours if ANC is turned off.
In Malaysia, the selling price of Realme Buds Air 6 is RM299 while Realme Buds Air 6 Pro is sold at RM399.
