Spotify is now reportedly about to introduce a new, more expensive plan later this year. The new plan is expected to target music and audio enthusiasts, and will offer high-quality audio support, in addition to the facility to create playlists and such.
According to a Bloomberg report, users are said to be charged an additional $5 per month for this new plan. The new plan will be offered to existing customers, allowing Spotify to generate additional revenue through it.
Previously, Spotify announced plans to introduce HiFi audio features in 2021, but it has not been introduced until now. Other music streaming competitors such as Apple Music and Amazon Music already offer this high-quality music as part of their offerings.
It is not known whether many will subscribe to Spotify HiFi or otherwise. With this new development, let's all look forward to Spotify's official announcement for this offering soon.
