Synology, the storage maker brand that is well known for their NAS (Network-attached Storage) storage offerings, today introduced the Synology Bee series of products for both regular and semi-professional users.
These storage products include Synology BeeDrive and Synology BeeStation which are portable physical storage and also compact NAS storage with built-in storage.
Synology BeeDrive comes with very compact storage that can fit in a trouser pocket without any problems. It comes with built-in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB storage options, and can be connected to a computer using a USB Type-C cable or via your smart device's WiFi and cellular connection.
In terms of data transmission speed, Synology BeeDrive comes with support for USB 3.2 Type-C plug, and has a data transmission rate of 10Gbps. It also comes with a durable feature where the components inside will not be damaged even if it is dropped at a height of 2 meters.
With BeeDrive software, you can not only back up your files to this storage, but vice versa as well. You just need to make sure the BeeDrive storage is connected to the same WiFi or cellular network, and then access your files through the software to download or upload these files to and from your device, no matter if you use an Android, iOS, Windows device or March.
Synology BeeStation comes with almost the same function, but it is your personal network storage device at home or office. You can access files in BeeStation no matter where you are, as long as your smart device or laptop and also BeeStation storage is connected to the internet network.
With BeeStation storage, you can share access to this storage device to seven other users such as family members or close friends and work to facilitate collaboration with each other.
Synology says that the Synology BeeDrive and Synology BeeStation storage can already be pre-ordered through the Synology Malaysia online store on Shopee and Lazada at a starting price of RM892 (1TB) for the Synology BeeDrive and RM1417 (4TB) for the Synology BeeStation.
