TikTok has now started offering an application with a focus on sharing photos, called Whee. Roughly, it is seen to offer the facility of sharing photos directly to friends and family members, more or less like Instagram.
Whee is seen to be offered on a limited basis in only a few countries for now, including in Malaysia. Using it, users can easily upload photos from an existing album or gallery on the device, or capture a photo using the camera and share directly through it.
There are no filter effects or captions to be added before sharing. Users can only upload pictures, and other friends can interact through the comment section, or send you a private message.
Whee uses existing TikTok accounts to register, as well as allowing users to add other friends from the TikTok platform to Whee. Interestingly, a timeline page is provided to make it easier for users to see the photos that have been shared.
For those of you who are interested, you can try Whee on iPhone and Android today by downloading it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
