Two More Meizu Products Coming To Malaysia, Phones And AR Glasses

Meizu seems to be serious about expanding their product offering to the Malaysian market. After successfully launching the Meizu 21 a few months ago, they now want to bring in two more new products, a phone and AR glasses.

This phone is still not explained which model, it may be the Meizu 21 Note in the mid-premium class or the Meizu 21 Pro in the premium flagship class. Meizu said they want to focus on the DreamSmart ecosystem and the FlyMe ecosystem with a Smartphone + XR + Smart Car strategy. Therefore MYVU AR Smart Glasses will also be brought in. According to Meizu, these glasses support connection with the Apple Watch and can be used in the car for instructions in augmented reality mode.

When the Meizu 21 went on sale in Malaysia, it was the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 device on the market. So their next device can be expected to be sold at a competitive price. The AR glasses market in Malaysia is not wide enough, so far the only big brand that brings in is Lenovo with their Legion Glasses so if MYVU is sold hopefully the price will also be affordable.
