WiFi Vulnerability In Windows Operating Systems Allows Malware To Install Without Any Input

Microsoft has recently fixed a vulnerability in the Windows 11 operating system's WiFi support that allows hackers to install malware when a laptop is connected to an open WiFi network.

In short, a hacker just needs to connect their computer to the same WiFi network, or use a trick to allow anyone to connect their laptop to an open network that is already present with this malware.

With this vulnerability, the hacker doesn't have to do anything afterwards, because any malicious software or code can be uploaded directly to the laptop, and it will bypass any security processes and protocols without anyone being aware of what is going on.

Microsoft has reportedly closed this vulnerability with the CVE-2024-30078 update and said that there are no exploits using it at this time, but has advised users to download the latest security updates.
