You Can Turn Your iPhone Into A Leica Camera With The Leica Lux App – RM29.90 Per Month

Since Xiaomi partnered with Leica, the camera quality of flagship devices offered has become more and more satisfactory. More interesting is when the selling price is cheaper than competitors and able to mimic the quality of cameras that are twice as expensive. Recently, Leica has introduced an application for the iPhone to allow it to mimic a real Leica camera.

Leica Lux is a free to use application but with limited functionality. For full access, a subscription of RM29.90 per month is charged. The application wants to allow the iPhone's camera to have a photo result as if it were taken with a film camera. This kind of photography is trending again with the Fujifilm X100VI which has a built-in film filter.

On Leica Lux there are Leica Looks that give users a choice of Leica Contemporary, Leica Classic, Leica Blue, Leica Selenium, Leica Sepia and Leica Eternal. Portrait modes that mimic expensive lenses such as the Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH and the classic Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH from 1966 can also be used in this application.

Leica Lux can also take advantage of the 48MP sensor on the iPhone, save ProRAW format and display professional photography information such as Histogram, Grid, Focus Peaking and others. This application also has no problem using all the cameras on the iPhone including the selfie camera. If you like this app, an annual subscription worth RM299.90 is also given.
