Apple Pay is a payment method using Apple Wallet. In Malaysia, some banks are ready to offer this feature and allow users to pay at the payment terminal using an iPhone or Apple Watch. E-commerce applications such as Shopee also offer payment with Apple Pay from within the application. In the future, Apple wants to facilitate and encourage people to use Apple Pay through QR codes.
This support is limited to selected web browsers only. This means, Apple Pay is no longer limited to Safari on macOS as Firefox and Google Chrome on Windows will support Apple Pay payments by scanning QR codes. Websites can now integrate the "Apple Pay" button like in the Shopee application, when pressed it will generate a QR code as if making a payment with DuitNow.
Scan with iPhone the payment will be completed and the money will be deducted through the cards stored in Apple Wallet. This support is said to be given to iOS 18 users after it becomes stable. Let's wait together.
