A total of 465,924 users have registered for MyDigital ID

Digital Minister, Gobind Singh Deo has now shared that a total of 465,924 users have registered for the national digital identity, which is MyDigital ID. It was also shared that MyDigital ID will be integrated to PADU, and the integration is expected to be completed around August 2024.

This National Digital Identity will facilitate the process of logging into various government services, in addition to simplifying the process of registration and identity verification on other platforms. As many are aware, these days some services require you to upload an ID card photo to verify your identity. With the integration of MyDigital ID, the relevant steps are at once simplified, and prevent user data from being misused by external service providers.

The Digital Minister also shared that later MyDigital ID will also be integrated with Touch n Go, EPF i-Akaun, LHDN, and also the banking sector.

MyDigital ID is also now expanding and simplifying the registration process, and has partnered with Tealive to allow users to register through the Tealive store. Moving forward, we may see MyDigital ID being used more widely.
