AirAsia has now informed which of their core systems as well as their check-in systems were affected by the Crowdstrike problem, at the same time having a major impact on their operations. This, at the same time, leads to a very slow check-in rate, as well as longer queues.
AirAsia stated that they are doing their best to deal with this problem.
Today, hundreds of companies around the world were affected by Crowdstrike's latest update which caused Windows computers to experience BSOD problems – and thus rendered the company unable to operate. This Crowdstrike software is used by various companies for security purposes and protection from cyber attacks and so on.
In addition to AirAsia, previously KTM had also informed that their system and operations were also slightly affected due to this.
