HMD is ready to confirm the existence of a Barbie-themed phone at the MWC event last February. Unwilling to continue to puzzle HMD has now revealed the official launch date which is scheduled to take place on August 28. Promotional images have also been uploaded through HMD's official website since yesterday.
When talking about Barbie, what comes to mind is the shade of pink that is quite synonymous with the character of the statue. Just like the phone itself, the pink hue matched with the Barbie branding is also used by HMD. It is still not clear about the full design and internal hardware. However the device is expected to focus on basic usage.
