Blackmagic Camera is a camera app developed by Blackmagic for smartphones. After being introduced for the iPhone, last month the Android version was launched specifically for selected Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices. Blackmagic recently announced that their new app now supports more Android devices.
Previously Blackmagic Camera was only supported on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 Pro. This new update brings support to Xiaomi 13/14 series, OnePlus 11/12, Samsung S21/S22 series, Google Pixel 6/6 Pro and Pixel 6a. In addition, Blacmagic also added monitor monitoring features with HDMI connection, focus-pull transition control and easier file management in Blackmagic Cloud.
The app is free to download on the Google Play Store. Blackmagic recommends using this camera app in conjunction with their video editing app DaVinci Resolve.
