Intel is expected to show their upcoming desktop class processing chip, Arrow Lake-S around September or October. Not many details are known about it, but now, a screenshot shown by some famous leakers seems to tell us some interesting details about Intel's upcoming offering.
This CPU-Z software screenshot shows some pretty interesting details, including its name, which appears to be the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, and is known to be the most powerful Arrow Lake-S processing chip to date.
It also appears to come with an overclocking speed of as high as 5.0GHz and a total electricity consumption of as high as 125W. Similar to what is seen on the Lunar Lake CPU series, the Performance core of this processing chip does not come with Hyper-Threading feature, so it is seen to come with 24 cores and 24 power threads.
So far it is not known whether Arrow Lake-S will be built by Intel or TSMC. The 7nm size shown in the screenshots points to it being built using the Intel 4 (7nm) process, but that can't be confirmed yet.
