CrowdStrike Update Issue Reported Not Limited To Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Only

At the end of last week, the update released by the digital security company CrowdStrike has caused a large number of corporate companies, including in the aviation, public transport, banking, health, and even government sectors to face serious issues where services related to the Microsoft Windows operating system are not can be used.

CrowdStrike and Microsoft are working together to introduce updates that help restore these systems, but the issue with CrowdStrike's software updates does not appear to be over yet. The software that causes this issue, namely Falcon Sensor can also be used on computers and server machines running the Linux operating system.

In fact, for those who use the operating system, they have reported issues regarding the update causing the "kernel panic" issue, where the computer will display a warning after a new corrupt update is installed that can cause data loss or serious damage to the computer since April last year this again.

Users of Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise, Debian and others have made reports about the stability of the software before, but the average has been ignored until now.

This is not to say that the issues plaguing Falcon Sensor users on Microsoft Windows operating systems are the same that are present on Linux operating systems, but it may show that CrowdStrike may be ignoring the seriousness of a situation when a software trusted by thousands of corporate and users are causing the world's biggest IT issues as shown last week.
